He did his undergraduate studies at the Univ. of Michigan-Dearborn on an academic scholarship, was granted a B.S. in Human Biology, and was conferred the title Doctor of Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic, Lombard, Illinois, in 1983. After practicing 25 years in the Detroit area, Dr. Williams moved to Spring Valley, CA where he practiced for 13 years and was voted "Top Chiropractor in East County San Diego" during that time. Although he misses the Southern California weather, he returns home to Michigan excited about being closer to his kids and grandkids!
Dr. Williams takes great care to tailor his care to our patients' specific needs and preferences. Of personal note, Dr. Tim and his bride of 40 years, Dianna, have four daughters; their names are Megan, Courtney, Abbey, and Emma. Their oldest, Megan, with a little help from her husband Nick who works as a security expert for Guardian Alarm (also serving as a medic in the National Guard), have made them proud grandparents four times. All boys, their names are Aiden, Ryder, and the twins, Easton and Emmit. They live in the Detroit area. Their second oldest, Courtney, along with her husband Brett (an airplane mechanic Southwest Airlines at Chicago Midway airport) gave them their first granddaughter, Layla, in April 2012. This was followed by two more grandsons: Blake, in January 2014 and Carter February 2017. Finally the addition of two granddaughters, Scarlett in June 2019 and Daisy in April 2024. In March 2014, their third oldest, Abbey, married to Max (who owns CMA Heavy Haul in Michigan) gave birth to yet another grandson, Emmerson, followed 4 years later in January 2018 by his little brother Hudson, then three years after that by a third granddaughter, Magdalene, in December 2020. Their youngest daughter, Emma, is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University where she played on their women's golf team. Upon graduating with a degree in graphic design she took a position with a prominent architectural firm in Oklahoma City. She married Connor (An employee of Oklahoma Shirt Co.) in 2019. They reside together in OKC.
Dr. Williams non-professional interests are varied. He enjoys golf and tennis, holds a private pilot's license, is an accomplished pianist, and for nearly 30 years has held positions of leadership in local churches as a musician and performing arts director in both Michigan and California.
Most important, however, whether you are a prospective or current patient, is to know you can feel confident Dr. Williams has a genuine concern for your health as his first priority. You will never be given a heavy-handed sales pitch to get you in for more care than you need or want. Dr. Williams takes great pride in providing a very relaxing, comfortable, and "homey" atmosphere in which to treat his patients and strives to provide you with the very best chiropractic care available.
